1972 Chevrolet Chevelle

Car History

Some of the meanest and most revered muscle cars to ever come out of the Chevrolet Motor Division in the 60s and 70s were the SS Chevelles.

The restored 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Convertible we have at Adventure Classics is what everyone wishes you could have ordered new in 1971, or today for that matter.

It is the very essence of a bad a muscle car with its blue paint scheme, white interior, and a convertible top let alone the correct 350 cubic inch motor and great running gear.

Engine & Drivetrain

Our 72 has a performance built small block Chevy 350 cubic inch engine with an aluminum intake, chrome valve covers, a Holley 4-barrel carb, Dart aluminum heads, Edelbrock roller rockers, headers flowing back to Flowmaster exhausts, air conditioning, chrome lid on the open element air cleaner, power brakes, power steering, 10-boltrear end with Summit aluminum cover, front disc brakes, with all sitting in a clean and detailed engine compartment.

It is backed by a 700R automatic transmission with additional parts like the big block aluminum radiator and all sitting in a clean and detailed engine compartment.

Interior

The restored interior consists of a black front bucket seats with headrests with its matching rear seat, black door panels, factory dash and stock gauges, air condition, black carpet, seatbelts, and black floor mats, aftermarket Kenwood radio system with speakers, and it steers with a sporty black Chevelle steering wheel.

Exterior

Our 1972 Chevelle has the great looking silver paint scheme with the styling that includes the classic Chevelle theme with large single-unit headlights, blacked-out grille, chrome bumpers, and integral park/signal/marker lights, dual round taillights, Cowl Induction hood with black SS stripes, and the SS emblems that really set it off too.

It rides on polished 5-spoke billet mag wheels with fat black sidewall performance tires and the great sounds coming out the dual exhaust via the tips.

Conclusion

The 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle we have here at Adventure Classics is a car to stop you in its tracks when you see and hear it coming. It has the power to back up that sound and rides and handles a whole lot better than they did back in the day.

If you want a nice restored 70's Chevelle that won't break the bank, then this is the right one for you.
