Engine & Drivetrain

Our 1947 Chevrolet is the beneficiary of a modified 366 cubic inch big block Chevrolet engine with added performance from the high-performance carb, orange painted block, heads, intake, and valve covers, open element air cleaner, power steering and brakes, and shifted by a 3-speed Turbo 350 automatic transmission.

Backing it all up is the factory cast iron exhaust manifolds, Dual Exhaust, Air Conditioning, and riding on a frame off-undercarriage that was restored using a Mustang II a Front Suspension and a 10 Bolt Rear end.

The engine sits in a very neat, painted, and detailed engine compartment with its aluminum radiator too.

Interior

Hop in the very basic interior and sit down on the classic bench seat upholstered in tan with brown door panels, dash with the aftermarket white-faced Dolphin performance gauges, air conditioning, LeCarra steering wheel, rubber floor mats, chrome automatic shifter on the floor, and it all just looks as basic as it did back in 1947.

Exterior

The exterior features the patina look on the vintage truck and you will know this 1947 Chevrolet is a survivor looking pickup.

It has chrome bumpers front and rear, chrome mirror on the drivers side, and rides on just-right on aftermarket 5-spoke grey/polished mag wheels on raised white letter BF Goodrich Radial TA tires to give it the perfect stance and “the look.”
