Engine & Drivetrain
Our 1949 Chevrolet is the beneficiary of a detailed, body-on restoration including the 235 cubic inch Thriftmaster 6-cylinder engine backed by a 3-speed manual transmission.
The engine looks swell with its chrome valve cover, stock carb and black air cleaner assembly, factory cast iron exhaust manifolds, and benefits from a 12-volt electronics changeover as it sits in a very clean and detailed engine compartment.
Interior
Hop in the stock appearing interior and sit down on the classic bench seat and gaze at the body-colored painted dash with the factory gauges, stainless, trim factory black steering wheel, matching door panels, with an updated AM/FM stereo radio system.
It just looks exactly as it should have back in 1949.
Exterior
The exterior features the new two-tone Robin's Egg blue with Crème over reminiscent of the correct vintage truck paint scheme you remember back then.
This 1949 Chevrolet was restored with new chrome front and rear bumpers, new grille, new custom wood bed and side rails, fog lights, dual chrome mirrors, and rides on just-right body-color painted wheels, chrome wheel caps and trim rings, on neat wide-white wall tires to give it the perfect stance and “the look.”
