Car History

You are looking at a solid and completely restored 1965 Chevrolet Malibu SS Resto Mod we have at Adventure Classics that everything on the car is either new, refurbished, rebuilt, or replaced.

It not only shows on the Trim Tag with the 13937 that it is a real SS but it has an original numbers matching engine that shows it to be an EE code which is an L30 327 cubic inch with a 4-barrel, 250 horsepower and an automatic transmission.

Engine & Drivetrain

The engine is the original numbers matching small block, EE code L30 327 cubic inch that now has a mild performance cam, 300 horsepower Chevrolet heads, aluminum intake, AFB carb, and Flowmaster exhaust system that not will put the power output to a minimum of 300 horsepower.

It is still painted in the factory orange paint with orange Chevrolet valve covers, chrome open element air cleaner, and has power steering, power 4-wheel disc brakes with 13” in the front and 11” in the rear, cold air conditioning, and a 700R4 automatic transmission putting the power back to a 12-bolt rear end.

The suspension has adjustable tubular A arms with a 2” lowering kit all around and riding on custom grey/chrome 5-spoke billet wheels and blackwall performance tires.

Interior

All of the interior looks new with its blue color scheme on the custom bucket seats, door panels, carpet, rear seat and dash. It has factory tach and gauges and the speedometer shows what the owner claims is the true mileage of a tad over 67,000 miles.

It also has seatbelts, an AM/FM stereo system, great wood steering wheel, floor Shifter inside the floor console, air conditioning, and blue floor mats too.

Exterior

The car was completely taken apart and a frame-off restoration done ad repainted with a Silvermist Gray paint that looks so sleek with excellent shine and it is as smooth as glass.

The chrome bumpers, all the trim, door handles, weather-stripping and all of the glass has been refinished or replaced and are flawless.
