We have a 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS here at Adventure Classics that a lot of collectors are always looking for. Ours is a true SS with only two owners, a potent big block 454 cubic inch engine mated to an automatic transmission with many original parts too.
Engine & Drivetrain
The original engine was upgraded to a modified 454 cubic inch Big Block engine painted in the correct Chevrolet Orange paint that also has a lot of performance parts like the Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake, Holley performance carb, long tube headers, chrome valve covers and open factory type air cleaner, performance spark plug wires and much more.
The Chevelle has been changed to disc brakes both front and rear, and has a 12-bolt rear end, chrome power steering and power brakes, and the engine sits in a cleaned and painted engine compartment and chassis.
Interior
One look inside and you know this Chevelle has a mostly original interior in the distinct green vinyl with its bench seat with headrests and pull down center console/arm rest, matching rear bench seat, factory steering wheel, full factory gauge panel, AM/FM radio, green carpeting, floor mats, and great door panels and headliner.
Exterior
Our Chevelle has had one repaint in the factory-correct Frost Lime Green exterior but has the original vinyl top on it and the body and top both look great! It is factory-correct born a true SS with all the right badging, blacked-out front grille and tail panel, aggressive hood dual power bulges and the factory SS wheels.
Look at the pictures and you will see all of the body panels still have the original factory part numbers on them as most of the glass has the factory stamping. This is a true mostly survivor Chevelle that you do not find every day.
