Car History

When you come to see the 1951 Custom Chevrolet Deluxe Convertible we have at Adventure Classic, you can probably imagine cruising down the road with the wind in your hair our custom cruiser sails easily and attracts attention wherever it goes.
When the 1951 Chevy was introduced it set the bar for styling that would continue for decades to come.

Engine & Drivetrain

Our 1951 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible is powered by a 350 cubic inch small block Chevy V8 engine that looks show worthy, as does the whole car, as it is equipped with a an aluminum Tri-Power intake manifold and 3 performance two-barrel carbs with chrome air cleaners on top, performance chrome fuel lines and fuel block, performance hoses and plumbing, red body paint matching finned Chevy valve covers, remote dipstick, modified electronics and spark plug wires, long tube headers and much more.

The engine sits in a clean, detailed, and painted engine compartment with Power steering and power brakes, and Air conditioning to keep you very cool while you are cruising with either the top up or down. This vintage Chevy rolls on a set of powder-coated red steel wheels with chrome trim rings and centers while wearing wide white wall tires at all four corners.

Interior

The interior has been completely redone with a pair of bucket seats in the front in white with a matching rear seat, both of which are very comfortable. It has red carpets, matching white custom door panels, custom painted red and white dash that matches the body color and the Corvette coves on the exterior with a set of gauges, wood and billet tilt steering wheel, custom center console with woodgrain and housing the automatic transmission shifter, white visors, and of course, the great white power convertible top.

Exterior

The fiery red paint scheme on our 1951 is beautiful and set-off by the white painted “Corvette coves” on each side reminiscent of early 1950's Corvettes.

Of course, our Chevy cruiser has plenty of shiny chrome as well as great brightwork surrounding every piece of glass, running down the side, bumpers front and rear, and the shark tooth front grill, it all has great fit and finish.

Cool fender skirts were added on the rear wheel wells that are always an old favorite and the white convertible top has a red boot that protects it provides nice blend with the striking red finish.

Conclusion

If you are looking for a cruiser or just a classic convertible this 1951 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible that we have at Adventure Classics is killer build that combines the smooth curves of the early '50s with a 350 V8 that is a lot of high-end fun.

This is convertible was built to drive anywhere and grab plenty of attention doing it.
