Interior

This Sting Ray has a restored black vinyl interior that offers a completely sporty driving environment. It has individual twin bucket-type seats that have a factory bolster-like design for more seating comfort and better lateral support and the black theme extends to the carpet, door panels, and dual sun visors as well as floormats.

The matching instrument panel has controls for the heater/defroster located on it along with the electrical clock and radio controls and vent controls that are located under the instrument panel on each side of the steering column.

It has a matched speedometer and tachometer that are the primary instruments in the Sting Ray with a fuel gauge, electrical coolant temperature gauge, ammeter, and an oil pressure gauge.

It also has the head-light switch, cigarette lighter, head-lamp retractor switch, upright radio in the floor console as well as the 4-speed chrome shifter, hood release, and four-position ignition switch that completes the instrument panel with the great factory wood steering wheel also.

Exterior

The styling changes on our 1965 Sting Ray were beautiful and ours has been restored and repainted in black to gain back that as new beauty.

The styling on our 1965 Sting Ray is beautiful with the louvers behind the front wheels that help increase air flow through the engine compartment, giving it both an aggressive and sophisticated look, the Corvette and Stingray emblems, chrome front and rear bumpers, taillights, door handles, the flip-up gas cap, side gills, black convertible top, sidepipes, and it still retains the original aggressive stance.
