History

The Dodge Challenger is the name of three different generations of automobiles produced by Dodge. The third and current generation is a pony car introduced in early 2008 as a rival to the evolved fifth generation Ford Mustang and the fifth generation Chevrolet Camaro.

Engine & Drivetrain

Our Challenger R/T has a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 and a TorqueFlite eight-speed Automatic transmission that harnesses 372 hp and 400 lb-ft.

It all looks stock and has a blue Ram Air open element air cleaner system, is Fuel Injected, has a Shaker Intake,TorqueFlite Eight-speed Automatic Transmission, All Speed Traction Control, Super Track Pak Performance Steering, Performance Suspension, High Performance Brakes, Dual Exhaust, disc brakes, and air conditioning.

In testing a Challenger R/T went from zero to 60 mph in 5.8 seconds and gets 19 mpg combined (16/25) for the automatic.

Interior

This Challenger RT has a stylish cabin with its Black / Sepia Leather High Performance bucket Seats with Shaker Logo, rear seat, canted center console and configurable central dash display, the superb 8.4-inch multifunction touchscreen, Rear Back-Up Camera, Keyless Entry, Power Locks, Power Windows, heated and ventilated Front Seats, Heated and Leather-Wrapped Steering Wheel with Audio Controls, a Power 6-Way Driver Seat, and AM/FM/SXM/HD/BT/NAV UPS Navigation.

The backseat is remarkably roomy for two adults, with good headroom and decent legroom and the trunk is also generously sized at 16.2 cubic feet.

Our RT has Granite Crystal Metallic Clear Coat exterior paint that looks great on the bulging fenders with the Challengers retro-body style. It has the Shaker Package, Shaker Hood, Power Sunroof, with a Rear Spoiler , and rides on 20-Inch Factory Satin Aluminum Wheels with 20” black sidewall performance tires.
