We have a 1997 Ford F250 XLT Club Cab HD Pickup here at Adventure Classics that is the kind of truck that is a loaded but still made a great work truck also.

The Ford F250 XLT was and is a workhorse truck icon that was manufactured Ford and ours wears white paint with maroon trim, a 460 cubic inch engine and 3-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, a windshield visor, aluminum running boards, and factory aluminum wheels and black sidewall tires.

Engine & Drivetrain

The 250 XLT has a 460 cubic inch engine under the hood looks quite original and is a great choice in the F-250. The engine compartment looks as if it just drove off the showroom floor!

This one fires up readily proves it. The fuel-injected motor neatly straddles the line between power and economy, and it's mated to a rugged 3-speed automatic transmission with overdrive and it has power steering and power brakes and rides on factory aluminum wheels with black sidewall tires that give it a great look.

Interior

The cabin is upholstered in grey cloth on its Captain's chair bucket seats with armrests, factory grey matching dash with a black dash pad housing all the factory gauges and controls including the factory steering wheel, speedometer, gauges for oil pressure, voltage, coolant temperature, and fuel level.

It has matching grey door panels and carpets, the latter of which are protected by floor mats, electric windows, locks, mirrors, cruise control, air conditioning, and an AM/FM stereo radio system.

Exterior

Our Ford has a shiny white exterior paint with maroon rocker panels, windshield visor, full length aluminum running boards, chrome front and rear bumpers with the rear having a tow hook system, a drop-down tailgate, towing mirrors, and a chrome front grill guard.
