We have a 1962 Chevrolet Corvette here at Adventure Classics that has a period correct non-numbers matching original complete fuelie system small block Chevrolet engine, four-speed transmission, maroon paint with black interior, hardtop and soft top included.

Our 1962 has that classic C1 feeling and looks great, is a great driver, and rides and handles very well.

Engine & Drivetrain

Under the hood is a period correct non-numbers matching Fuel Injected small block Chevrolet engine that looks as it should with the FI air cleaner assembly, orange painted engine block and heads, Corvette script valve covers, aluminum intake, cast iron factory “Rams Head” exhaust manifolds leading back to the dual exhaust, chrome ignition shielding, with the engine sitting in a clean, detailed, and era correct engine compartment.

It is backed by a four-speed manual transmission that shifts very smoothly and rides on iconic Chevrolet Corvette hubcap equipped wheels and whitewall tires.

Interior

These early Corvettes always had great interior styling and our 1962 is no exception. Ours has a matching black interior featuring twin vinyl buckets seats recessed into their surroundings with black carpeting, stock black/polished Corvette sports steering wheel, a dash filled with the factory gauges in the instrument cluster, and the dual cowl dash with the grab-bar.

It also has all the matching black door panels, seatbelts, the trademark waterfall, chrome floor shifter, pushbutton radio, and clock.

Exterior

The 1962 Corvette closed out its generation but still had styling refinements like the grille sitting in between a pair of smaller grilles, the twin dual headlights, ducktail rear, and the twin taillight design which ours has with its maroon paint job. It could use a restoration but is a good driver Corvette now.

It has all the chrome on the grill, front and rear bumpers, Fuel Injected emblems, Corvette Crossed Flags, and trim, and it has the maroon body matching painted hardtop on it.
