Car History

A lot of design money was spent on the 1953 F-100's “Driver Engineered” cab, which was created using the “Measuring Man,” a life-size model of Average Joe Trucker. “Driverized” features like improved control locations, sound deadener in the doors and an even wider seat guaranteed that Joe and his buddies would feel right at home. Also new was an enlarged one-piece windshield for added visibility.

If you have ever wanted time capsule of an early model Ford F100 pickup, we have a completely restored 1953 Ford F100 here at Adventure Classics.

Mechanical

When you look at the engine compartment of this truck you will see the high-compression 239 cubic inch 8-cylinder which made its appearance as Ford's first modern OHV V-8.

This gem of an engine has all the correct parts you will love like the correct aqua painted block, intake, and heads, the single carburetor wearing the factory black air cleaner, factory exhaust headers, original type spark plug wires, plus all the period correct belts, hoses, and parts.

The engine sits in a painted, clean and detailed engine compartment that shows so well and is shifted by a column-shift three-speed manual transmission and rides on body color-matched wheels with chrome poverty caps and wide whitewall tires.

Interior

The F100 has a complete restoration so the interior looks as new with a matching painted dash with all the correct factory gauges, a full bench seat, body color painted door panels, vintage factory black three-spoke steering wheel, column mounted shifter, black rubber floor mat, and everything looking like it did back then.

Exterior

The F-100 is finished in its factory shade of green exterior and as can be seen by the pictures, it has had numerous hours spent on body lines and fit, interior is spot on, and the great finish.

There's really not a lot to say that the pictures don't already tell you that this truck is pretty much as new.

Not only the paint on our F100 is a quality job, but also the black front and rear bumpers and step plates, great grille, and matching wooden bed floor, and the drop-down tailgate and straps.

Conclusion

The 1953 Ford F-100 we have here for sale at Adventure Classics is a milestone pickup if there ever was one.

It looks just as it did in 1953 and is a quality presentation that you will need to add to your collection.
