Car History

Every now and then you will find a jewel of a collector car to add to your collection.

he 1972 Dodge Challenger Rally Pack we have at Adventure Classics is one of those as it has just 630 miles on it since its rotisserie restoration that brings it to that great muscle car you should own with such a great presentation.

With a low total production, as well as low survivability over the years, any Dodge Challenger is worth a substantial amount of money.

Mechanical

Our 72 has a huge #2536430 casting number period correct 440 RB engine in it with the block and heads painted orange, matching orange and aluminum MOPAR Performance finned valve covers, orange open element air cleaner with the 440 Four Barrel decal on it, aluminum intake, four barrel carb, power disc brakes, power steering, Aluminum radiator, MSD electronics, performance spark plug wires, and cast iron exhaust headers going back to the polished tips on the dual exhaust, and sits in a clean and painted engine compartment.

The power goes back thru the 8 ¾ rear end via the 727 automatic transmission as it rides on 17” Ralllye wheels and black sidewall performance tires.

Interior

The restored interior has the correct black bucket seats and matching rear seats, black dash with white faced performance gauges, black carpeting and floor mats, matching door panels with woodgrain trim, full length floor console housing the automatic shifter also with woodgrain inserts, factory steering wheel, push-button radio, and all looks as new or better than new.

Exterior

Our Challenger has, using the Trim Tag Info Verification from Chrysler, the repainted GB5 Bright Blue Metallic paint job with luster and new shine, is accented by the V1X Full Vinyl Top in Black, dual mirrors, twin scoop hood, black rear spoiler, and the blackout front grill and rear end center.

Conclusion

The recent restored 1972 Dodge Challenger Rally Pack we have at Adventure Classics is an upper-tier build that had not only a lot of time and effort spent, but a lot of investment and pride put into it too.
