1970 Plymouth AAR Cuda

Car History

Nothing much looks hotter than a 1970 Plymouth AAR Cuda like the real-deal Rallye red with black stipes one that we have here at Adventure Classics.

This Plymouth 'Cuda AAR is a #1 car with rarity, power, and Mopar beauty all come together in the most desirable six-pack package around.

They only produced 2,724 examples for 1970, its first and only year in production, but less than half were four-speeds, so you may never find another example again, and ours has had a complete restoration

Engine & Drivetrain

When you open the hood you will see the heart of all AAR Cudas, the 340 cubic-inch small block number matcing engine topped by the factory orange air cleaner assembly on top of the triple carburetors that make up the powerful Six-Pack engine.

The potent engine is factory correct with the proper casting 340 TA on driver's sider lower engine block along with the correct VIN # stamping. It has the Hemi orange paint on the engine block, intake, and valve covers with that correct factory 340 Six Barrel air cleaner assembly, power brakes, plus everything else looks like it should with the engine residing in a detailed, painted, and correct engine compartment.

It is backed up by a 4-speed manual transmission and a H.D. rear end with it riding on factory Mopar AAR styled wheels with Goodyear PolyGlas E60-15 raised white letter tires that are period correct.

Interior

Open the door to our time-capsule AAR Cuda and you will see the black vinyl interior with its twin high-back bucket seats and matching rear seat, iconic pistol-grip shifter on the floor, sporty three-spoke wooden steering wheel, controls for heat/defrost, full round Rallye gauge package with the tach, black door panels and carpet, and 'cuda black floor mats.

Exterior

Our AAR was built to be a real race machine in the Trans-Am series, and it looks like it was with the factory exclusive lightweight fiberglass hood with functional scoop finished in matte black to reduce glare, hood pins, the special spoilers front and rear, unique strobe full-length stripes, blacked-out treatment, and the exhaust tips poking out just ahead of the rear wheels.

And everyone loves the exclusive badging that came on Dan Gurney's All American Racers (AAR) that is on the beautiful "Rallye Red" rotisserie done body.

Conclusion

The 1970 Plymouth AAR Cuda we have here at Adventure Classics is an ultra-rare and desirable to be sureto appreciate and value as these are one of the rarest Plymouth muscle cars ever made!

It is a no-expense rotisserie build that that you must have for your collection.
