Car History

We have a great example of an original looking but restored with a modern drivetrain, 1941 Ford Pickup here at Adventure Classics that will take you back in time the minute you sit behind the steering wheel.

Our 1941 Ford Pickup is painted in Matte Black and in great running condition. This desirable, pre-war, classic is well appointed, attractive in presentation with a great color combination, and 1 Chevy V8 engine.

Engine & Drivetrain

This 1941 Ford Pickup makes quite an impact wherever it goes and by looking under the hood you will start to realize how modified it really is with the 60's Corvette 327 small block Chevy engine with the Edelbrock 4-barrel carb sitting on top of the aluminum intake, aluminum finned valve covers, performance distributor and ignition parts, chrome lid open element air cleaner, with all of this sitting in a neat and clean engine compartment.

It is also running a new yellow top Optima battery, 4-whell power disc brakes, 4-inch drop front axle with a front pan hard bar, power steering, all new Be Cool aluminum a/c cooler, transmission cooler, and radiator, air shocks in the rear, air conditioning, and riding on red painted steel wheels with chrome center caps and trim rings and black sidewall tires with its Turbo 3503-speed automatic transmission putting power back to the Ford 9-inch rear end with 3:55 gears.

Interior

Our Ford has a new interior with 2008 Honda Accord twin bucket seats covered in a horse saddle blanket theme including the door panels. The great dash incorporates gauges including a Moon speedo, other S&W gauges, Cd player with Ipod connection and Alpine 6x9 in the glove box, tilt column with Moon steering wheel, floor shifter with a red boot, console, and the air conditioning.

Exterior

As Ford stopped production of vehicles in 1942 and did not continue production again until 1946 because of our involvement in World War II, the 1941 Ford is a sought after collector vehicle.

Ours looks sharp as it has been painted in Matte Black by PPG with the addition of a 1936 Ford front bumper, 1940 tail lights, diamond plate on the floor of the bed which is painted black, badging, door handles, classic brightwork pieces, sharply-pointed grille, and great chrome bumpers round out that stock look.

Conclusion

This beautiful 1941 Ford Pickup we have here at Adventure Classics is super fun to drive and a real head-turner. It is in great shape and runs as good as it looks.

If you want an outstanding example of this era of Ford and a driver's classic, don't miss this Ford.
