We have a perfect example of a stock and original looking 1966 Chevrolet Nova SS here at Adventure Classics, that has been frame on restored and modified giving it more power, better handling, and driver comfort features galore.

It is equipped with a 350 cubic inch engine with a FITECH fuel injection system, automatic transmission and 12-Bolt Rear-End.

I cannot describe here how clean, immaculate outside, inside, and underneath that this Nova SS is!

Mechanical

Our 1966 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova Super Sport has a built 350 cubic inch small block Chevrolet engine backed by a Turbo 350 automatic transmission and a 12-bolt rear end.

It has mods on the blue painted engine block, heads, and valve covers, such as the FITECH EFI Fuel Injection system, billet open element air cleaner system, powder-coated tube headers flowing into Flowmaster mufflers and out the dual exhaust system, aluminum intake, electronic exhaust cutouts, power steering and brakes, March serpentine belt system with billet and chrome pulleys, as well as Vintage heat and air conditioning.

The suspension has been reworked and now has Heidts type subframe with coil-overs, tubular a-arms, aluminum radiator with electric fans, 4-wheel Wildwood disc brakes, and rides on BF Goodrich Radial TA raised white letter tires on Rally wheels with the chrome trim rings and caps.

Interior

The inside of our Nova is as nice as the outside with its black twin bucket seat interior that is simple, original looking, as well as functional, and is in perfect condition.

In between the bucket seats is the factory SS center console and it has a matching rear seat along with the blue dash housing all the aftermarket digital gauges, Chevy II pushbutton radio, Flaming River chrome steering column with the Banjo steering wheel, blue carpet and floor mats, Tinted windows, seatbelts, matching door panels, Vintage heat and air conditioning, and the chrome automatic shifter.

Exterior

The Chevy II underwent a complete restyling in 1966 into what many people consider the most desirable example of the marquee. This is a legendary performance package that is ready for show in its stunningly restored and repainted Marina Blue exterior.

All the other body pieces like the grille, SS emblems, cross-flag 327 engine emblems, cowl induction hood, chrome bumpers front and rear, and trim was replaced or redone to perfection and it looks great, sounds great and runs great!.

Conclusion

Chevrolet was smart enough to put a small block Chevy V8 engine into these Nova cars which gave them a good power-to-weight ratio and they were a fast little muscle car then, but the stock and original looking 1966 Chevrolet Nova SS we have here at Adventure Classics, takes it to a much higher level of collector car.

This completely restored 1966 Chevrolet SS Nova is very fast due to its engine size and very light weight and looks better than it did when it was brand new.
