2014 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500
Car History
The Shelby Mustang is a high-performance variant of the original Ford Mustang which was built by Shelby American from 1965 to 1968, and from 1969 to 1970 by Ford.
Following the introduction of the fifth generation Ford Mustang in 2005, the Shelby nameplate was revived as a new high-performance model, this time designed and built by Ford.
We have an outstanding looking 2014 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 here at Adventure Classics that is said to be a 200+ mph supercar. Our 2014 Shelby Mustang GT500 has a huge supercharged 662 horsepower V8 engine to power it to that speed as well as all the other gear to handle and stop it too.
Engine & Drivetrain
The beast that lives under the hood is the 32-valve 5.8-liter DOHC supercharged V8 engine rated at 662 horsepower and 631 pounds of torque. The special engine is what gives it the impressive performance and future collectability. It is the original numbers-matching power plant remaining factory correct.
The 2014 GT500 has improvements in cooling performance that was learned during the first two years of GT500 production. It comes with SVT suspension upgrades and 3.31 limited slip rear end are there to give you the best high-speed performance.
Also included is the giant Brembo four-wheel disc brake package to give you plenty of stopping power, and the grippy Goodyear tires on aluminum forged wheels to keep you planted to the road.
Interior
Inside, the black and red bucket seats have the exterior dual stripes continued on them. The GT500s came only one way, loaded and so ours has dual zone climate controls, power windows, power locks, leather wrapped steering wheel, keyless entry, cruise control, modern touchscreen, AM/FM/CD/XM, and modern safety features like dual front airbags, side airbags, and anti-lock brakes.
Any Shelby Mustang is already loaded to the gills with standard equipment including the gauges that are retro-style as well, leather-wrapped racing steering wheel, cue ball topper on the six-speed shifter, A/C, and all power options.
Exterior
Sinister black paint is the perfect factory color for the car. It still has a showroom-level shine. he Mustang has the retro-look but way more aggressive. Plus, the handsome chin spoiler, Shelby badging, black sinister paint, rear spoiler, blacked out grill, dual black racing mirrors, side-body ground effects, and the black mags and high performance blackwall radials with the huge brakes, makes this one great package.
Conclusion
