1967 Fairlane Ranchero
Car History
The 1967 Ranchero was based on the 1966 Falcon/Fairlane chassis and used the basic 1966 Ranchero body with Fairlane trim, front sheet metal, and interior treatments instead of the Falcon. It was then marketed as the Fairlane Ranchero.
We have such a 1967 Fairlane Ranchero here for sale at Adventure Classics today.
Engine & Drivetrain
Ford put a potent 289 cubic inch engine in the lightweight little grocery getters and the Ranchero had entered the muscle car arena in 1967. It is backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission and has Power steering, Power brakes, and plenty of power.
It rides on 5-spoke chrome mag wheels and good black wall performance tires and has a sporty feel and ride as well as a great exhaust note too.
Interior
The interior features twin black bucket seats with red piping, console, chrome T-Handle shifter in the floor console, red padded dash, driver's side mirror, Day/Night mirror, factory red steering wheel, aftermarket stereo radio system, and black carpeting.
Exterior
1967 Fairlane Ranchero was a one year only body style and the Ranchero was pretty much a Fairlane with a bed. It featured the same stacked headlamps and square grille up front, which made it a more popular choice.
Ours has a brilliant Performance Red exterior with great body panels and fit, shiny chrome Fairlane side trim, glass, and chrome front and rear bumpers.
Conclusion
This 1967 Fairlane Ranchero here for sale at Adventure Classics today is a well-received and unique one-year vehicle, rare, sporty, and a unique car that would be a great addition to your collection.
