Car History
The 1937 Ford F1 Pickup Street Rod we have here at Adventure Classics features a more rounded look with fine horizontal bars in the convex front and hood-side grilles. The front grille was V-shaped, rather than following the fenders into a pentagon shape, as on the 1936 model.
This 1937 Ford pickup has been transformed with sleek black and red and yellow flamed paint on the outside, custom bed, well-built small block and an automatic transmission and it makes for a powerful head-turning custom that also has plenty of vintage appeal.
Engine & Drivetrain
Open the flamed butterfly-style hood has a more modern Chevrolet 350 cubic-inch V8, engine with a lot of additions on it. It has a Holley four-barrel carburetor, a polished intake, H.D. alternator, an electric radiator fan, tube headers feeding the dual exhaust, etched and polished matching open element air cleaner and valve covers, chrome power steering and brakes, performance spark plug wires, disc brakes up front, and air conditioning.
It has great power for cruising and rides on fabulous chrome spoke wheels and raised white letter wide Cooper Cobra performance tires.
Interior
The interior features a set of high-back twin bucket seats in a plush cloth upholstery with a fold-down center console that is very comfortable, similar carpet and door panels, power windows, Kenwood AM/FM stereo radio system and speakers, black sports steering wheel on a tilt column, and an awesome dash with white-faced aftermarket gauges.
Exterior
Black paint is a timeless, but when you add the custom red and yellow flames on the hood of our 37, it changes the whole look into a sweet looking hot street rod!
The black paint has a very deeper shine that really highlights our Ford's awesome curves with the chrome bumpers, headlights, mirrors, and black running boards setting it off.
But even with all these upgrades, nothing beats the look of real wood on the truck bed floor.
