1982 Ford Bronco XLT Lariat
Car History
Every generation of these Ford Broncos are now becoming super-collectable with the release of the new ones from Ford. A certain white one in LA became America's most notorious 4x4, but we have a super nice blue 1982 Ford Bronco XLT Lariat 4X4 for sale here at Adventure Classics.
Engine & Drivetrain
Under the hood of our Bronco sits an all stock and original looking 351 cubic inch V8 engine providing plenty horsepower and low-end torque to take you down the road or in the mud.
It has the silver painted snorkeled air cleaner with long intake hoses, the original valve covers, factory cast iron exhaust manifolds, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, and everything looks as it did from the factory in the clean and detailed engine compartment.
It has the 3-speed automatic overdrive transmission and a 2-speed transfer case so this truck is equally happy at highway speeds or crawling slowly for off-roading. The exhaust system sounds just like it's supposed to and it rides on raised white letter Goodyear Wrangler ATS radial all terrain tires and factory Ford sport wheels with chrome trim rings and caps.
Interior
The interior features cool blue two-tone cloth buckets and lots of space for five. Ford insisted on upscale appointments in the top-of-the-line XLT Lariat and the fabric inside is tasteful and durable, yet still stylish enough to not look dated today.
It has blue carpets that feel very plush, wood grain accents on the dash that houses a full compliment of gauges, blue and woodgrain accented door panels, a great steering wheel, and
just about every feature in the book like cold A/C, cruise control, power windows and power locks.
The nicely appointed back seat looks barely used and the cargo bay is positively massive, fully upholstered and with the spare mounted back outside, you can take pretty much everything you own.
Exterior
Our Bronco is painted in two-tone Bronco Medium Blue Metallic and Dark Blue Metallic that makes it look so elegant yet sporty and has great chrome and stainless trim, heavy duty bumpers front and rear, nice grille and headlights, and the navy blue removable roof that adds in a fun factor of riding topless!
It also has a chrome bug shield up front, chrome side mirrors, chrome side step, tow package, and that great Ford factory swing-out rear tire mount with the full-size spare tire and cover.
Conclusion
If you grew up in the '80s, you know this super nice blue 1982 Ford Bronco XLT Lariat 4X4 for sale here at Adventure Classics was a cool truck, and even more so today.
You just won't find a more collectable 4x4 vehicle like this Bronco, and they are getting even more valuable day by day.
