Car History
The C/K was Chevrolet and GMC's full -size pickup truck line from 1960 until 2000 in the United States and Canada.
It was one of the biggest sellers in the USA and had the reputation of being one of the most dependable trucks ever too.
The 1986 Chevrolet Custom Pickup C10 we have here at Adventure Classics has a great no-expense spared complete restoration including the interior and power by a modified and accessorized small block Chevy engine.
Engine & Drivetrain
Under the hood of our C10 is a 383 stroker motor small block Chevrolet rated at over 450 horsepower that has a complete roller cam and kit, MSD ignition, Demon carb, headers, chrome open element air cleaner, performance spark plug wires, Chevrolet logo chrome valve covers, air conditioning, power steering, and power brakes.
It is backed by a reverse shift pattern with manual shift pattern automatic transmission and stall converter, aluminum radiator and dual batteries.
It has great driving features like a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission and the C10's desirable trailing arm rear suspension. It rides on great tires and a set of aluminum mag wheels.
Interior
The complete custom interior is built for comfort. It has a custom upholstered two-toned twin high-backed bucket seats in tan/burgundy with matching side door panels and black carpeting, power windows, and a custom full- length console between the seat to the dash housing the floor shifter, stereo speakers, cup holders and controls.
The black/polished steering wheel sits on the tilt steering column as you look at the complete set of gauges in the digital dash complete with a stereo and amp system.
Exterior
The fresh maroon exterior paint looks good on the entire body offset by the black racing stripes over the cowl induction hood scoop and rear roll pan. It has a chrome front bumper, great front grille and trim, polished side bed rails, and rides on polished and grey custom mag wheels with blackwall performance tires.
The truck bed is black with a bed mat for functionality and protection.
