Car History
Chevrolet's Chevelle ran from 1964 until 1977, but none were as sought after as the 1966 big block Super Sport Convertibles.
We have at Adventure Classics is a nice running 1966 SS Chevelle Convertible Tribute with a 13617 Vin with a 1966 #3855961 Big Block V8 that shows it to be a 1966 396 engine as well.
This car was restored and is in great condition inside and out waiting for someone to drive and enjoy the top done big block muscle car ride.
Engine & Drivetrain
This Chevelle has a correct for the year #3855961 1966 396 cubic inch big block Chevy V8 engine with over 350 horsepower that not only sounds great but looks great too with its performance aluminum intake, electric choke performance carb, chrome Chevy factory style valve covers and open element air cleaner, tube headers flowing into dual exhaust under the rear, orange painted engine block, and aftermarket performance plug wires.
A 4-speed manual transmission keeps you in control of those ponies and it has Power brakes to provide the stopping power and power steering.
Interior
The nice black vinyl full front bench seat interior looks as new and just like it left the factory. It has a 4-speed shifter on the floor with a white ball, a tachometer that lets you keep your eye on the revs, and both factory and aftermarket gauges to watch what is going on with the engine too.
It also has a wood steering wheel, black carpet, matching black vinyl rear seat, great headliner and matching door panels, and an AM/FM stereo radio lets you crank up the tunes while you cruise the streets
Exterior
Our Chevelle is in maybe better shape than it ever was with the refinished body bathed in a Marina Blue paint scheme over its iconic Chevelle body panels and lines.
This Chevelle has a great look with the SS 396 emblems on the fenders and trunk lidl, the factory twin-scoop hood, dual mirrors, and this Chevelle has a muscle car stance that is sure to get looks with its Chevrolet Rallye wheels with chrome trim rings and caps wrapped with period correct red-line tires.
The trunk is painted in correct speckle paint and the black convertible top looks great both up or down with the boot.
