In 1998 Dodge produced a Ram pickup truck that some consider the ultimate towing vehicle, the Dodge Ram with the 8.0-liter V10 and a 4-speed automatic transmission.

Engine & Drivetrain
The engine compartment holds the 8.0-liter V10 that has 300 horses and a locomotive like 450 pound-feet of torque. The Magnum V10 was only available only in the heavy-duty 2500 and 3500 series pickups.
That engine has plenty of stump pulling power whether you are towing or just driving it on the streets and has what looks to be like all the stock engine components on it like it was sold with.
It is backed by the 4-speed automatic transmission and the truck rides on the factory chrome-clad aluminum wheels and blackwall truck tires.
Interior
All Ram Pickups got a comfortable interior in 1998 and ours has a grey split front bench seat that has a fold-down console and similar rear passenger seat. It has a great dash setup with factory gauges, woodgrain trim on the dash and grey door panels, a great stereo radio and sound system, and most all power options including power windows, power locks, Dodge Ram Logo floor mats, and power seats.
Exterior
Our Dodge Ram has a good white paint job with silver sides and red pinstriping, tow mirrors, chrome grill, bed liner, as well as the towing package.
Visibility is great, and controls are excellent, the automatic transmission shifts are firm, but not harsh, and the column-mounted gearshift operates easily. The Ram Pickup is surprisingly agile and surefooted.
Conclusion
