1968 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible

Car History

The first-generation Chevrolet Camaro, which ran from 1967-1969 is considered by many to be the best looking muscle car ever built.

We have a great looking 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible here at Adventure Classics that is just what you are looking for.

Engine & Drivetrain

Ours has the original numbers matching 327 V8 engine that still rests under the hood and is verified by the engine stamp numbers ending in ME on the stamp pad. It also carries the correct Vin number there as well.

Our 327 engine, valve covers, and intake are correctly painted in Chevrolet orange with the black factory air cleaner assembly sitting on top of the carb and what appears to be the original decal.

It features headers with a dual exhaust system, power steering and power brakes, and sits in a clean and tidy restored engine compartment, backed by an automatic transmission.

Interior

The interior has been redone and features the black twin front bucket seats separated by a black factory console housing the center console with horseshoe shifter, AM/FM stereo radio system, wood grain dash with factory gauges and controls, three spoke steering wheel, matching back seat and door panels.

The convertible top looks great and the trunk is also finished and also has a trunk decal that appears original as well.

Exterior

The exterior of this Camaro is as straight as they come and the paint is bright and shiny too and looks as it did when it was painted the correct code of Ash Gold at the factory.

It has great chrome bumpers, side trim, and emblems with the black Bumble front stripe leading to the stripes on each side. It also sports a cowl hood and front and rear spoilers to give it just the right iconic look.

Our Camaro rides on factory Rallye wheels with the chrome trim rings and center caps with Cooper Cobra raised white letter Radial GT tires that not only look great but perform just as well.

Conclusion

This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible we have here at Adventure Classics is a great restoration of a numbers matching engine with a rare color, a convertible, and looks to kill.

You will be hard pressed to find a nicer build in this price range.
