Fiat 124 Spider Convertible

Car History

The Fiat 124 Spider debuted in 1966 and was an affordable way to have Italian sports car performance at a lower price. The stunning Pininfarina coachwork and body sat on the these little classics, like the 1982 Fiat 124 we have at Adventure Classics are suddenly becoming highly collectable pieces of Italian livery.

Engine & Drivetrain

The 2.0-liter fuel-injected motor is this car's factory original equipment. The dual overhead camshaft has a low-end power surge that just loves revving and has a great exhaust note.
It is a tight handling car with well-balanced suspensions that love windy roads. They even kept up with some of the most modern features like the 3-speed automatic transmission and great brakes.
It rides on the factory alloy wheels and low-profile black wall performance tires.

Interior
The interior is original and in great shape with its blue bucket seats, real wood dash, and Veglia instruments that have crisp markings and an elegant simplicity that was a hallmark of the Italians.

The original radio has been replaced by a newer AM/FM/CD stereo head unit mounted in the factory dash slot and there is two seats in back to provide room for packages or maybe one or two passengers for very short trips, and there is a tan convertible top that's stows in seconds.

Exterior

Our Fiat wears the original shade of blue paint, this little Italian still draws stares and compliments as a wonderful vintage roadster in the purest Italian style, and the Pininfarina design looks expensive especially when you see the exclusive Pininfarina badges on the lower quarter panels that only these got.

Conclusion

The sharp 1982 Fiat 124 we have here at Adventure Classics is a true Italian delight and fun to drive!
