Car History
The late-C3 body style, with its molded spoilers front and rear, T-Tops, and polished factory wheels, was the last of that generation Corvette.
We have a 1982 Corvette here at Adventure Classics that is so rare because of its rare paint colors of Silver Green Metallic with a Silver Green interior.
With just 723 Corvettes done in that shade at the Bowling Green plant we haven't ever seen a Silver Green Corvette in person so this one really stands out.
Engine & Drivetrain
Lift the hood and you will see the 350 cubic inch L83 V8 engine that features Cross-Fire Fuel Injection with twin throttle bodies and was factory-rated at 200 horsepower.
The engine and engine compartment looks as factory stock as it can be and is very presentable and runs great and has A/C, Power Disc Brakes, and Power Steering too.
Power is sent rearwards via a 4-speed 700-R4 automatic transmission with overdrive and a limited-slip differential equipped with 2.72:1 gears.
It rides on Cooper cobra Raised White Letter GT radials and factory Chevrolet Corvette polished slotted aluminum 15″ wheels.
Interior
The interior is done in matching Silver Green twin bucket seats and features leather seats with 6-way power adjustment for the driver, power locks, cruise control, all the power functions on board with performance style gauges, audio system, thick carpet, center console, and rear storage area, and a factory AM/FM radio with cassette deck.
The 5-digit odometer shows just over 24k miles and it shows by the relative minor wear on the interior carpet and door panels.
Exterior
This 1982 Chevrolet Corvette is finished in Silver Green Metallic with great shine and finish over the sleek body with spoilers front and rear, and other exterior equipment including power-adjustable sport mirrors, removable glass T-tops, and a powered antenna.
