This beautiful Sierra Yellow GTO we have at Adventure Classics is a great example of Pontiac's great cars back then. The 1970 Pontiac GTO Coupe we have here is a knock-out mostly original GTO with a Number Matching 400 CI V-8 Engine and GM 400 Turbo Transmission.
Engine & Drivetrain
Our GTO retains the born with original numbers matching 400 cubic inch engine with the correct Pontiac blue paint on the engine block, factory chrome air cleaner and valve covers, full Rochester Quadra Jet 4-barrel carb rebuilt, upgraded Power Brake Booster, Air Conditioning, power steering, added power disc brakes, and backed up by a GM Turbo Hydramatic transmission.
This GTO has been one-family owned and in storage since 1995. It has the original windshield and on it is a Texas Department Of Public Safety Sticker from 1970 and an oil change sticker from 1996 with 68352 miles on it, it now it reads 68454.
Interior
The GTO has the original dual bucket seat Saddlewood interior, a factory console and shifter, Console, driver vanity visor mirror, Factory Radio and 6-Track, Spare and Jack, and the original Dark Gold vinyl top.
You must come see this GTO as the interior as well as the engine and the car defies the pics and descriptions.
Exterior
It has had one repaint back to the original color paint called Sierra Yellow with original Dark Gold vinyl top and is super shiny with great body panels and fitment as well as great chrome bumpers, GTO decals, muscular looking Ram-Air hood, Dual Exhaust, 15" Rally II Wheels with white letter performance tires.
Conclusion
The Sierra Yellow GTO we have at Adventure Classics is such a time-capsule of a GTO it is difficult to put in words how nice and original it really is. But it also comes with sooooo much documentation and provenance like the Original Window Sticker, Protect-O-Plate, Sales Order, Delivery Inspection Sheet, Owner's Manual and Protection Plan Folder, and the "Thank You" Card from Pontiac, and a Copy of Original Title.
