We have a really nice restored 1969 Firebird 400 Convertible here at Adventure Classics for you to start the summer with the wind blowing in your hair while you are cruising the scene and air conditioning for those days when the sun is too hot.
Engine & Drivetrain
Check out underneath the hood and you will find that we have an upgraded and built 400 cubic inch V8 engine painted in Pontiac Blue. It is sitting in a neat and clean engine compartment that looks factory stock.
The engine has an aluminum intake, performance carb, Pontiac chrome valve covers, chrome alternator, performance in-line fuel filter, tube headers and a dual exhaust system that includes Flowmaster mufflers, factory Muncie 4-speed transmission, factory Posi rear end, power disc brakes and power steering, factory air conditioning, and it even has the proper stickers are on the chrome open element air cleaner and the radiator fan shroud.
The car rolls on blackwall performance tires all around mounted on sharp looking Boyd's Billet wheels.
Interior
Our Firebird has a very nice black interior with twin front buckets and matching rear seat, black door panels, dash with all the correct factory gauges and some performance gauges below the Alpine custom stereo radio.
There is a three spoke steering wheel with the Pontiac arrowhead in the center as well as the wood grain center console that is trimmed in chrome, white shifter knob on the chrome Hurst shifter, red floor mats that protect the carpet, and when it is time for drop top motoring, it has a power top.
Exterior
In a sea of Camaros, this bright Matador Red painted 1969 Firebird really stands out. The 1969 has that iconic Pontiac chrome split front grill, flanked by quad headlights, Firebird script on the front fender, side vents, and the 400 emblems on the twin-scoop hood really make a statement.
To complete the look, it has a front air dam, body painted rear spoiler, chrome exhaust tips, tinted glass, and a rake with the fat tires and wheels that looks great.
