1970 Buick GS

Car History

The Gran Sport name has been used on several high-performance cars built by Buick since 1965. Buick was surpassed in luxury and comfort appointments only by Cadillac, which did not produce performance models. As a result, the Buick GS series were the most opulently equipped GM sport models of their era.

We have a frame-off restored 1970 Buick GS here at Adventure Classics in a great subtle shade of Bamboo Cream with the 350 cubic inch Ram Air engine and a bunch of factory documentation including the Protect-O-Plate!

Engine & Drivetrain

Our Buick is powered by a 350 cubic inch V8 Buick engine mated to an automatic transmission and features power steering, correct red painted factory intake manifold, engine block, and valve covers, 4-barrel carburetor, cast iron factory exhaust headers and a custom dual exhaust.

The 350 even has a correct factory Ram Air Cleaner and sits in a clean and detailed engine compartment that looks just like it did from the factory.

Interior

The interior features a pair of black front bucket seats and matching rear seat, black carpet with GS floor mats, Factory 6000 RPM tach, all the gauges from the factory as well as auxiliary gauges, floor shifter in the factory chrome and wood floor console, and Sonomatic Buick radio.

The upholstery is in excellent condition including the door panels and the trunk also looks as new with the correct spatter paint as well as trunk mat.

The 1970 Buick GS is finished in the factory correct Bamboo Cream with a red stripe along the bottom of the body. It rides on the correct factory Buick Rally wheels with red line tires to give it the right look for the era.

Conclusion

The 1970 Buick GS we have available here at Adventure Classics is a perfect example of a muscle car from 1970 that was restored years ago and driven but still retains a glossy sheen and almost all the correct parts that it came original with, including a ton of original paperwork too.

Do not let this one get away from you.
